I have tasted many failures in my life, but I haven't been able to catch what it looks like on camera until now. However, with this blow of failure I also caught a little ray of hope. The image is of Haitian migrants caught living illegally in the Bahamas by immigration officials.

Day in and day out, people always stop and ask me if I believe I'm a good photographer or if I'm better than "so and so". I always stop what I'm doing looking them in the eye and point them to my work. You see I'm one of those types that allows their work to speak for itself, so I ask you what do you think?

I got the opportunity to shoot this particular covering an event for Monty Knowles. He  allowed a group of local photographers to capture his latest art piece, the "Junkanoo Nymph". The bright colors and intricate details of the living piece captivated all that came into contact.

 When life through me a curve ball during one of my first attempts at shooting fashion this beautiful lady came and saved the day at the last minute. When my back is against a wall this what I can produce.
